MERLIN Support Office
Last Week, from 24th to 28th of June, the global Lidar-Community came together in Landshut, Bavaria/Germany to share the latest techniques and research at the combined 31st ILRC (International Laser Radar Conference) and 22nd CLRC (Coherent Laser Radar Conference). Hosted by the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., these events gather an exciting mix of scientists, engineers, and students passionate about laser remote sensing. The venue at the ta.la Hotel in Landshut was most suitable and the weather was just fine for coffee breakes outside.
About 370 participants contributed to the success of the conference, and many international exhibitors showed their latest products. Amongst the interesting talks and stimulating discussions also the MERLIN Mission and its airborne demonstrator CHARM-F were a topic and enabled new ways of collaborations and ideas.
